Capitol Electric employs field crews who are members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 48.

John McNeel President
John has over 22 years of experience in the electrical industry and holds an Oregon Supervisors License as well as a State of Washington Master Electrician’s License. His project management and estimating experience includes Multi Level office buildings, medical facilities, manufacturing plants, commercial retail buildings, Distribution Facilities, cold storage, grocery stores, tilt-up flex space, and numerous interior improvement projects.
John Uhl Senior Vice President
John has over 36 years of experience in the electrical and construction industry, John knows what it takes to get projects done right. John’s experience includes supervision and scheduling of field crew, estimating, and project management. He has TRF estimating system certification, First aid/CPR training and is a licensed General Journeyman in both Washington and Oregon. John has managed many large commercial electrical projects in the metropolitan area.
Brian ElliottVice President of Operations
Brian is an Oregon Supervisor electrician with over 30 years in the industry. From the smallest maintenance project to ground up design build projects he has the experience and know how to get the job done right.
Bob HendersonGeneral Manager/Safety Director
Bob has 32 years experience in the electrical trade he holds journeyman licenses in Washington and Oregon. For the first 27 years of his career, he was an Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, General foreman on many projects. From houses, apartments, Industrial Buildings, Commercial buildings, Hospitals, Surgery centers, Cold storage, Grocery stores, Refrigeration, Retail stores, Design build projects, Tilt buildings, to multi-story high rise buildings.
The last 4 years he has moved into a larger role being the General Manager/Safety director. He is certified in OSHA 510, NFPA 70E, LEAD training, Silica trained.
Mike QuinonezEstimator & Project Manager
Mike has 38 years experience with a successful career in electrical construction and management. He has completed numerous electrical design build projects in the Oregon and Southwest Washington area over the last 21 years. His project experience includes multi-level office buildings, medical facilities, manufacturing plants, commercial retail buildings, grocery stores, tilt-up flex space and many interior improvement projects.
Scott CampanellaEstimator & Project Manager
Scott has over 36 years of experience in the electrical industry, starting as an apprentice in Florida & California before working his way up to a General Journeymen electrician. He has led a wide range of projects from small tenant improvements to large scale commercial & industrial builds. He holds both a General journeymen’s license and a Supervisor’s license. His experience in the field has carried over to help him grow as a project manager and estimator for projects such as operating rooms, medical facilities dental offices, commercial buildings, tilt ups, and industrial facilities over the last 12 years.
Aaron BerettaEstimator & Project Manager
Aaron has 19 years of experience in our industry and currently holds an Oregon and Washington General Journeyman’s license. His estimating experience ranges from small to large scale projects. Safety is concern at Capitol Electric and Aaron is no exception as he holds an OSHA 30 Safety certificate. Aaron has estimated and managed many projects in the Portland metropolitan area and is trained in TRF estimating software and PTW32 engineering software for your electrical design needs.
Brandon PorterEstimator & Project Manager
Brandon has a successful 17 year career in the electrical industry, and holds a Washington and Oregon Journeyman’s license. Brandon’s electrical experience includes a wide range of skills, from many years spent as a Capitol Electric foreman. He specializes in estimating and project management of commercial tenant improvements, design build projects, industrial production facilities, and retail space improvements. Brandon is driven to provide the best service, value, and performance possible in every project.
Jeff MasonEstimator & Project Manager
Jeff has 24 years field experience ranging for heavy industrial to light commercial projects. Jeff is a licensed journeyman in both Oregon and Washington, holds an IBEW/NECA Forman’s Certification and is First aid/CPR trained. Jeff’s attention to detail, construction knowledge and work ethic are a strong addition to the Capitol Electric team.
Kent GormanAuto Cad and Bim Designer
Kent is the manager of Capitol Electric’s Cad Drafting and Design Department, and works closely with Capitol’s project managers and clients to ensure that all projects are completed on time and with the utmost quality. Kent is focused on not just meeting, but exceeding the customer’s expectations. He has been in the design and drafting field for over 28 years and has earned an Associate’s Degree in Drafting Technology from Clackamas Community College. Throughout his career, Kent has gained knowledge and experience working on commercial projects, residential projects, healthcare facilities, semiconductor manufacturing plants, and telecommunication projects.
Kevin SteiertEstimator and Assistant Project Manager
Kevin has over 23 successful years in the electrical industry. He’s worked and managed many jobs in Oregon and Washington from small tenant improvements to large ground up commercial projects. He’s always looking for ways to improve job quality and safety.
